Founded as Haimen Chemical Plant

1969

The launch of oxytetracycline production workshop signaled Hisun’s initial foray into the pharmaceutical sector

1990

The 50th anniversary of the establishment : 50 Years of Passion, Ambition is Still Young

1997

Haimen Pharmaceutical Factory underwent corporate restructuring to become Hisun Group Co., Ltd.

2000

Hisun was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (A Share)

2012

Formed a joint venture with Pfizer, Hisun Pfizer Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (renamed to Hanhui Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 2018)

2014

Achieved annual revenue of over ¥10 billion ($1.4B).

2021

Hisun's first independently developed Class 1 new drug, Hybutimibe tablets, received marketing authorization Hanhui Pharma was fully acquired by Hisun Pharmaceutical, becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary Favipiravir tablets received marketing authorization
